Eric Barker on friendship in adult life — why it gets harder, and what actually works when you are no longer in school.
Nội dung sách
Plays Well with Others (international edition) looks at how adults make, keep, and lose friends. Barker pulls from research and reporting: status, vulnerability, groups, and the quiet fact that many people are lonely while looking successful. The book treats social skill as learnable, not as a personality you either got or did not.
Bookee nhận xét
Clearer and less cute than the title. Good for readers who already like Barker’s Barking Up the Wrong Tree style: evidence, stories, then a usable rule. Not a dating manual. Best if you feel the gap between “I have colleagues” and “I have people.”
